Fished the weekend and Monday. Got to say I had to work for the few I caught, no lack of trying. Water running a tick lower then 200 CFS and as the title indicates “GIN CLEAR”. Definitely starting to see some bug life in the afternoons with the majority being Early Stones, mixed in with some Midges and a few really small what appear to be BWO, but I mean small size 22 or maybe even 24. Needless to say, I have neither the patience or the skill set to fish that small. LOL.
Unfortunately, I received the news as I’m sure the rest of you have that due to the current situation the Dinner has been cancelled. I always look forward to seeing everyone there but suppose I’ll have to catch you on the water.
Just remember the safest place to be is outdoors, so no excuses now, “Get out and FISH”.

Stay safe and see you on the river!

got skunked yesterday 3.22.2020.. maybe it was due to the huge temp swing.. 70 day prior.. high 30’s when i was fishing.

    water was moving pretty well..
