got out yesterday for a couple of hours (12-3) and it was gangbusters for all 3 hours.

6 in the net from farmhouse down. lost another 6 through the couple hours.

one of the lost fish was a good size golden rainbow trout (a first for me)i cried and it ripped the dropper off the line.

water was in high 200’s but water was clear.. just a great day.

Yeah man, the water is finally down to fish able levels, caddis are hatching and egg laying. A few rises yesterday (Wednesday) but all hits were sub surface. They are on the insects and are fat and hungry. It is on. Time to play hookie, let the lawn grow, you can make up excuses later, just get in.
